A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.
Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.
Warranty Periods
304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
Electronics, including 12V vacuum pumps, RF modules, and controllers, are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
Tip finish is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

And saying that I reached out to customer support via chat, and told them what I had and they told me that it would work with a slight modification. If slight modification means an extra 16 hours in a shop, then that is the definition of slight modification. It was sent back. I’ve reached out via phone and email and no one has called me back. "Car is totally stock other than the Valvetronic. Totally changes the sound and I love it! I also have sport+ mode coded in and this makes the burbles much more aggressive and noticeable. So much fun. Professionally installed at a shop, the guys said it was super easy. Took less than a few hours. Attached a photo of the stock exhaust/muffler for reference. Lol at the difference"

2024 BMW 430i Convertible Axel Back
"High quality exhaust build, tig welded joints and stainless pipping. The install was beyond easy measured 6 different times to make sure I got it right but cut a 1/4” in front of the dimple that was on the factory exhaust. Much lighter than factory exhaust with less restrictions. The outlets fell exactly centered on the factory bumper but I put a new carbon fiber rear valance that needed the duel outlets so added the Y-pipe which has taken a lot of adjusting to get right but those still stick out too far as the flapper valve is on the bend and in the way. The flapper valve needs instructions to tell you orientation for the connector spring from the actuator. Only gripes I have is no installation instructions come with exhaust so there’s some ambiguity with where to cut and actuator spring orientation. Love the included swag and very happy with the sound and ease of installation. Quality of the kit."
