MAP POLICY - Minimum Advertised Price

Valvetronic Designs has unilaterally adopted a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy (“MAP Policy”) applicable to each and every Authorized Dealer in the United States of America for all Valvetronic Designs products supplied to an end user. As of the effective date of this policy, Valvetronic Designs products will only be available to qualified Valvetronic Designs Authorized Dealers who responsibly advertise, promote, and support Valvetronic Designs as a premium brand. This Policy covers all the products sold by Valvetronic Designs under any and all brands of Valvetronic Designs as listed in the current Product Data Sheet or Price Sheet as provided to Authorized Dealers and Resellers and is available on the Valvetronic Designs Wholesale Website. The current Product Data Sheet or Price Sheet will include all products covered by the MAP Policy, SKU, UPC and the minimum advertised price; current price on Valvetronic Designs’ retail website prevailing.

The MAP Policy is not a contract nor is it an express or implied agreement between or by Valvetronic Designs and its Authorized Dealers. This MAP Policy applies to advertised prices and does not restrict Authorized Dealers from negotiating with end users the final sales price (as opposed to advertised price). This policy does not establish maximum advertised prices or require specific prices to be advertised.

Purpose

The products sold by Valvetronic Designs are of high quality and performance as a result of extensive testing and development. Valvetronic Designs products have earned a premium image as a result of extensive marketing efforts, brand development and superior customer service. The Valvetronic Designs premium image is a valuable asset, and Valvetronic Designs has determined that certain advertising practices undermine its brand position and value. This MAP Policy is intended to both preserve and enhance Valvetronic Designs’ brand perception and value to Authorized Dealers and consumers as well as to encourage the marketing of its products in alignment with its MAP covered products.

Scope of MAP Policy

In accordance with this MAP Policy, any consumer or public advertisement of a Valvetronic Designs product may not result in a net price that is lower than the current MAP price published by Valvetronic Designs. This includes resellers who purchase the products from any Valvetronic Designs Authorized Dealer. Shipping costs may not be included in the price of an item equal to MAP. To be clear, if the cost of an item after being “added to cart” is below MAP, it is considered a violation of this policy. Auction sites or other technology that displays or accepts pricing below MAP, or displays or suggests “Make an Offer”, “Suggested Price”, or “Offer Price” or discount percentages that result in a MAP violation cannot be displayed. The application of any discounts, rebates, special offers or bundling of any Valvetronic Designs products that devalue or reduce the MAP Price is in violation of this policy. Advertising or listing any Valvetronic Designs products on any sites controlled by Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, Walmart, or other online marketplaces or auction sites is a violation of this policy. Advertised products must display clearly and visibly the currency in which they are being sold or displayed. Products being sold in US Dollars must be displayed at the US MAP price. The use of any Valvetronic Designs intellectual property including the name, logo, part numbers, trademarks, images, videos or other marketing information developed or published by Valvetronic Designs is conditional upon adherence to this policy.

Violations of the Policy

In the event Valvetronic Designs determines that an Authorized Dealer or any reseller is in violation of this Policy, Valvetronic Designs will attempt to notify the Authorized Dealer or reseller to remove the non-compliant material within a time determined by Valvetronic Designs. Valvetronic Designs reserves the right to use all means necessary to enforce the MAP Policy including but not limited to price adjustments, discount structure adjustments, and marketing agreement adjustments with our Authorized Dealers. Valvetronic Designs reserves the right to discontinue selling products to any Authorized Dealer for any reason it determines to be in the best interests of its brand.

Valvetronic Designs sales personnel or other staff have no authority to modify the MAP Policy, discuss acceptance, or negotiate Policy terms with any Authorized Dealers or resellers.

Shipping and Returns Policy

Returns, refunds, shipping, warranty information Valvetronic Designs Returns, Refunds, Shipping, and Warranty Information Customer Satisfaction Policy Valvetronic Designs is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. If you experience an issue with a product, please follow the guidelines below to resolve it efficiently. General Policy Overview Start at the Original Place of Purchase All claims, refunds, and returns must be handled by the original seller. Contact them first for assistance. Do Not Remove Installed Products If an issue arises post-installation, do not remove the product before receiving confirmation of return approval. On-car diagnostics may help resolve issues without removal. Warranty for Original Owners Only Second owners must purchase replacement parts separately. Dealer and Direct Purchases If purchased through a dealer or Valvetronic Designs directly, submit a request via the form on our website. Order Cancellations Orders canceled more than 48 hours after placement incur a 20% raw materials allocation fee. Orders cannot be canceled once shipped. Product Representation Product photos on the website may not always reflect the latest design. Contact support for details before purchasing. Return Policy Non-Returnable Items Electrical items (e.g., exhaust valve controllers) Installed universal valved mufflers Special order exhaust systems Items without original factory packaging Shipping damage or mispackaged items without documentation Incomplete returns (missing components or hardware) Items damaged due to misuse or improper installation Returns requested after 30 days from delivery Preorder items Returnable Items (Subject to 20% Restocking Fee) In-stock items (excluding Special Operations Systems) Uninstalled Universal Valved Muffler Kits Return Window 30 days from the delivery date. Damaged returns will incur additional restocking fees. Note: Use all original packaging when returning items to prevent damage. Refund Policy All approved refunds are processed by the original place of purchase. Approved returns must be received at Valvetronic Designs HQ within 30 days of approval. Discontinued Products If a warranty claim is approved for a discontinued product, repairs will be made if possible. If repairs are not possible, a comparable replacement may be offered. Warranty Coverage Covered Items All Valvetronic Designs brand products. Special order items are not returnable. Used, pre-owned, and prototype products are not covered unless explicitly stated. Exclusions Hardware and gaskets. Products showing abuse, improper installation, motorsports usage, or alterations. Product Warranty Periods 1 Year: Universal Valved Muffler Kits + Special Operations Exhaust Systems 30 Days: Valves on exhausts Electronics/electronic components Catalysts Tip finish defects (must follow washing instructions before making a claim) Warranty Actions If a warranty claim is approved, Valvetronic Designs may repair, replace, or refund the product at its sole discretion. Replacement items must be returned within 30 days, or the purchaser will be responsible for both items. Exclusions from Warranty Installation, removal, and labor costs. Cosmetic wear and tear. Misuse, modifications, or improper servicing. Shipping Policies Package Theft Policy At Valvetronic Designs, we are committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience. However, we are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after being marked as delivered by the carrier. Please review the following details regarding our stolen package policy: 1. Delivery and Signature Requirements Orders may be shipped without requiring a signature upon delivery. This means the carrier may leave your package at your doorstep, mailbox, or another designated location without obtaining a signature. If you prefer a signature-required delivery, please contact us before placing your order to explore available options. 2. Ensuring Secure Delivery To minimize the risk of package theft, we strongly recommend the following: Track Your Shipment: Monitor your package’s tracking status to anticipate its arrival. Be Available for Delivery: If possible, ensure someone is home to receive the package. Use Secure Delivery Locations: Consider using a work address, a carrier access point (e.g., local pick-up center, locker), or a trusted neighbor to receive the package on your behalf. 3. Carrier Confirmation & Liability Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, we consider the transaction complete. If the carrier provides photographic evidence (e.g., a photo showing the package at your doorstep or mailbox), we will deem the package successfully delivered and assume no further liability. 4. What to Do if Your Package is Missing If you cannot locate your package, we recommend taking the following steps: Check Your Surroundings: Sometimes, carriers leave packages in discreet or alternative locations (e.g., behind a planter or with a building concierge). Contact the Carrier: Report the missing package directly to the carrier and file a claim with them. Check with Neighbors: Sometimes, packages are mistakenly delivered to a nearby address. File a Police Report: If theft is suspected, report the incident to your local authorities. 5. Customer Responsibility By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you are responsible for ensuring the secure receipt of your package once it has been marked as delivered. Valvetronic Designs cannot provide refunds or replacements for stolen packages. Shipping Damages (WHAT TO DO?) Valvetronic Designs can not be held liable for refusal of, delay of, loss of, theft or damage to a shipment of any item. The customer agrees to indemnify Valvetronic Designs for all costs, fees and expenses Valvetronic Designs incurs as a result of any violation of any local, state, federal, national or international laws or regulations. Customer agrees to take responsibility for lost packages that were not independently insured or sent without requiring signature. The customer understands they will be liable in the event of additional fees, tariffs, or legal issues such as border seizure. Customer accepts these risks and agrees to release Valvetronic Designs of all liability. All packages are sent without a signature unless requested. Extreme care goes into the handling and packaging of each Valvetronic Designs product. All packages are shipped with the appropriate amount of insurance and packing material. If package appears damaged on arrival, state the damaged condition and have the driver acknowledge the damage condition as well. In the case that products appear damaged after opening, contact the carrier immediately. Save all packaging for the claim inspection. IF AN ITEM IS DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING, FOLLOW THESE STEPS: Please submit: 10 photos of the exterior of the box showing the damage for all angles 10 photos of the interior of the box with all contents inside 10 photos of the interior of the box with all components removed from the box Please send these images to us on our support page, we will then open a claim with the carrier. Shipping damage claims MUST be presented to Valvetronic Designs within one week (7 days) of receiving the product for a claim to be authorized. This is the ONLY way we can process a shipping claim. Without pictures of the damaged area we will not be able to get the carrier to refund you so please be detailed. Any funds returned from the carrier will be transferred to you in form of a refund to your original payment method. Proceed with the installation as normal, If the outlets are damaged, have your installer expand the pipes in order to resolve this issue. Our goal with this process is for you to install your system as normal and we will work with the carrier to get you your refund. We can not assist if we do not receive accurate documentation of the issue as the item arrives to you. Partial returns (e.g., returning only part of a kit) are not allowed. Fitment Issues If you receive a product that does not fit properly here are the steps: 1. Take a MINIMUM of 10 Photos of the issues and 1 video. 2. Upload this information to the form below (please allow for 24-48hr response) 3. Email customerservice@valvetronic.com and relay the issues you are having 4. From there we will assist you in the process If there is a fitment issues with a product please conclude the install immediately. Once the exhaust is heat cycled it is not able to be returned or exchanged as it is a used item. If the item you ordered is unable to be easily replaced Valvetronic Designs will cover the costs of modifications. This process is at the sole discretion of Valvetronic Designs. If the item is a special operations product and another unit is not in stock, we will assist in the modification process to repair the exhaust. This way we are able to assist you get your car back on the road sounding as it always should have. If a replacement unit is available, we will ship you a replacement and a return label to get the original damaged product back. If the original product is not shipped back Valvetronic Designs reserves the right to charge for the additional product. Race Configuration Disclaimer Race exhaust systems may trigger a check engine light due A tune or software modification is recommended. Liability Disclaimer Valvetronic Designs is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to labor, rental car fees, lost time, or revenue loss.
