All products manufactured by Valvetronic Designs are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of sale. A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.
Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.
Warranty Periods
- 304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Electronics, including 12V vacuum pumps, RF modules, and controllers, are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

"I purchased this exhaust and was not disappointed. It arrived very fast and even included gifts in the box. I purchased the forged carbon fiber tips and the regular carbon fiber tips were also included. I had this exhaust professionally installed and there were a few things to note. This exhaust does not perfectly fit a 2015 Audi s5 (b8. 5 s5) the hangars are slightly offset and even after installing, the exhaust is not aligned on both sides. One side actually rubs the inside of the rear bumper slightly. While the other doesn’t. Another note is the valvetronic designed metal plates with their name (for branding purposes) are slightly welded onto the exhaust, I assume they are there for support. Furthermore a few of the welds on the plates broke (there are two plates) causing them to be attached, but loose and ping the exhaust when the car is running. It made it sound like something was seriously loose until I crawled under the car and realized that was the issue. I had to break the two metal plates off and after that the pinging went away. Other than the issues i had listed above they make the car sound great. When the valves are open under hard acceleration it is pretty loud and sounds good. The perfect amount of loudness. However with the valves open cruising at highway speeds it does drone quite a bit. However when closing the exhaust valves it’s quieter than when I got the car with stock exhaust and doesn’t drone at all. So I wouldn’t really count that as an issue. I rate this a 4/5 stars due to the issues I listed above."

Simply amazing sound
"Possibly one of the best sounding exhausts I have ever put on a car. I bolted this up to some IE downpipes and everything fit perfectly. My car had a Stasis Challenge Performance package exhaust that sounded a little too tame for what I wanted. Great bass tone with the valves closed and even better growl with them open. No annoying drone when driving but I do have to turn the stereo up more now."

"Ordered this for one of my rental cars on Turo. I have people asking what the exhaust is all the time. I programmed them valves to the garage door opener. With the valves closed it is tame but a little louder than stock. With them open, it is a monster. Great sound, highly recommend the boy from valvetronic. Didn't have fitment issues."

"Everything was pretty awesome. The exhaust sound is incredible. It's like no other. But of of the muffler tips were bent, so I had to bend it back with a hammer so I could fit the carbon tips on. Also after about a week I heard rattling from the exhaust and saw it was the valvetronic designs plaque. The weld broke on it and I had to rip it off. Which wouldn't be that bad of a thing to do except the plaque was welded on the wrong side. So I had to drop the exhaust to rip it off. Other than that, everything was good."

- I am from Eu and i want to but one will it fit S5 b8.5 Coupe 2014
- Yes, this system fits the Coupe, but it requires modification. You will need to have a professional shop trim about 5–7 inches off the mid-section piping to account for the S5’s shorter wheelbase. Aside from that adjustment, the routing is compatible.
- I am from EU and i want to order one but will it fit i dont know bcs exhaust is not same for coupe and sportback i have coupe will it fit S5 B8.5 2014
- Fitment is confirmed for the B8/B8.5 S5 Coupe with minor modifications. Due to the shorter chassis length, the mid-pipes must be shortened by 5–7 inches. We advise a professional installation to ensure the cuts and welds are handled properly for a leak-free fit.
- Will this work for a 2018 Audi A6
- Unfortunately this system will not fit the A6. Our universal mufflers would be a great option however!
- Would this work with Corsa RSC resonated down pipes?
