Porsche 992.1 – Valved Exhaust System

Motorsport Tone • Everyday Usability

Overview

The 992 platform is widely considered the modern performance car benchmark. But like all turbocharged Porsches, it comes with one big compromise—muted sound. At Valvetronic Designs, we restore the drama with our Sport and Race configurations, transforming your 992 into the emotional driving machine it was always meant to be.

Sound Dynamics

  • Valves Open – Exhaust gases flow unrestricted through a large X-pipe, delivering the raw, motorsport tone you’ve been craving. Expect aggressive overrun crackles and a naturally aspirated character, reminiscent of Porsche’s legendary 917 race cars ripping down the straights.

  • Valves Closed – Sound is routed through our quad-chamber muffler, significantly reducing volume for refined cruising and early-morning starts, all while maintaining tone quality.

  • The result: a system that brings the magic back to the 992 platform—balancing daily comfort with track-inspired exhilaration.

Features

  • Constructed from Brushed T304 Stainless Steel or Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium)

  • Factory valve integration – rapid open/close response with OEM controls

  • Mandrel-bent piping for maximum flow and minimal restriction

  • Precision TIG welds for strength and durability

Fitment

  • Porsche 992.1 Carrera / Carrera S / Carrera GTS / Carrera 4S

  • Porsche 992.1 Turbo / Turbo S

Amazing sound and class when needed

"Wow! Plenty of sound! But gets real quiet when I am driving with my wife or am on the phone. This system is value for money and allows you to get all the sound of a raucous 911 while preserving all the class when needed. I highly recommend it. It came in high quality and caused me no issues other than the idea of pining for my old 991. 1 sound. Thats no longer an issue. Get all the new 911 stuff and a sound that rivals the sound of years ago. If you are an enthusiast then this gives you all the options at like 1/2 the price of others. A rare product or service can deliver price and quality. This is it."

Great system

"System went in fairly easy for an amateur. Tone is perfect. Nasty when you want it. Quiet when you don’t."

Q&A

Hey, I’m based in the uk, do you guys ship to the uk? Also just to confirm this replaces the oem valves? Oh and I assume it’s now fully integrated into the controls for normal, sports, sport plus etc?
Yes, we do ship to the UK. This system reuses factory actuators and springs and is integrated into the factory controls. They would just need to be recalibrated after installation.
Is the system that uses the factory stock valve controller available now? If I have a Kies valve controller already on the factory valve controllers that will work with said system?
Yes this works with the KIES controller!
I have a 992 GTS, do I still need to install your valve controller or does this work with the factory valve controller? If we need to use yours, is there an install guide?
Great question, Systems that are currently in stock have a separate valve controller. Our new generation of systems which will be released in roughly 2 months will all be OEM valve compatable. The only difference between the systems will be where you control the valves. If you buy now, you will have a separate key fob, allowing you to open the valves fully on command. if you wait to get your set up, you will have OEM functionality, but the car will not be as loud because the valves do not open fully on the OEM exhaust motors It's one hand half dozen the other, personally I prefer a separate valve controller to optimize the driving experience but we know folks like the OEM integration so it's up to you with what you prefer
I have a base 2022 911. It does not have the factory sport exhaust option so it does not have valves I can control. Is your exhaust compatible and how does the valved system work in my case?
Yes our system will work and can adapted to work with vehicles without Sport exhaust option and instead use our standalone valve control!
Do you guys use the stock valves on the full titanium exhaust system? Because I’ve heard that stock valve system doesn’t fully open when it’s in sport mode and you should buy an external module to fix that. Thank you
You are in luck, this set up does come with its own valve control hardware, allowing you full operation of the exhaust valves separate from the Cars ECU!
