All products manufactured by Valvetronic Designs are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of sale. A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.

Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.

Warranty Periods

  • 304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
  • Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
  • Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
  • Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
  • Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
  • Electronics, including 12V vacuum pumps, RF modules, and controllers, are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
  • Tip finish is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

Exceeded expectations for my 25 BMW Z4 M4. 0

"Let’s start with receiving the exhaust, great care is taken in protecting the exhaust. Swag in the box was a nice add. I did not have the time to install so I took it over to a local shop that specializes in BMW service. When I went to pickup my car not just one but a few of the techs there could not believe the level of quality of the system, that each piece was labeled to match the included assembly diagram, the ease of assembly and how well it fit without adjustments. I chose to wire the exhaust valve wiring which again was easy. Customer support also exceeded expectation. Call the phone is answered by a car enthusiast that has intimate knowledge of the design and installation. Here’s what you really came to read about, sound. OMFG. First, turn off your radio, you might never turn it back on. Even before you flip to valve open you will have this “shit eating grin on your face”. Opening the valves , well let’s just say, that grin will now become permanent every time you start your car and drive it. No drone, just pure enjoyment. Last but not least, exhaust tips are like the icing on the cake."

The Perfect Transformation for the G29

"I recently installed the Valvetronic Designs exhaust on my Z4, and it’s honestly how the car should have sounded from the factory. The Sound: With the valves closed, it’s remarkably refined—no highway drone and perfectly suitable for early morning starts. But once those valves open, the car completely wakes up. The tone is deep and exotic without being "raspy. " Performance: I noticed a slight improvement in throttle response, and the weight savings over the stock suitcase muffler are a nice bonus. Build Quality: The welds are clean, and the fitment was spot on. If you're looking for an exhaust that offers zero compromises between daily driving and spirited runs, this is it."

"This exhaust is a great upgrade for the G29. Very nice OEM+ sound with more depth, turbo noises, and growl with the valves open. Valves closed sounds stock. Even with the valves open, it isn't unusable around town with the stock downpipes. Also improves the look of the rear of the car!"

"so happy some love was shown to the G29. Had my car for about a year now and there were no good exhaust options out there. finally i saw this was announced and immediately bought one. Can’t say enough good things about my experience. System arrived to my house next day. I do live in New York and I know valvetronic is in Pennsylvania, but it was very impressive. Install was extremely straightforward and simple. Initially, I was pressing the wrong button on the remote and had been driving the car with the exhaust clothes. I was concerned my system wasn’t working so I reached out and they informed me that there are two buttons on the remote. The moment I clicked the valves open for the first time I could’ve cried. This system was everything that I ever could’ve wanted for this car. The tone is flawless and it’s nice and loud which this car was lacking. Very very very happy with the level of service from valvetronic and this exceptional product. Maybe when I get my new X5 next year we can put a system on that and get a similar sound. Thanks again for the incredible product."

This will be in stock late June
Will this exhaust system work on a sDrive30i as well?
With modifications yes, but it is not direct bolt on. The only confirmed fitment we have is with the 40i
