The C8 RS6/RS7 pairs long-distance comfort with serious pace—but the factory exhaust keeps the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 far too quiet. The Valvetronic Designs Titanium Valved Cat-Back transforms the experience, delivering a raw, motorsport-inspired soundtrack with the valves open, and a refined, grand-touring tone with the valves closed.
Crafted entirely from titanium and engineered around a large cross-section H-pipe, this system improves exhaust scavenging and throttle response while staying drone-free in either mode. For maximum presence and performance, pair it with our free-flow front bypass pipes.

All products manufactured by Valvetronic Designs are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of sale. A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.
Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.
Warranty Periods
- 304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Electronics, including 12V vacuum pumps, RF modules, and controllers, are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Tip finish is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

"The exhaust has been amazing and sounds amazing but the one problem we have had with it is that the 12v plug in for the valve system because whenever you hit a pot hole it will pop out a little which makes the valve controller not work. I would suggest trying to find a way to hard wire it straight to the battery since it is in the trunk of the car. Otherwise though it has been perfect. My dad loves it and loved the suprise!"

"Just installed on a 2023 rs7. Did not opt in for the down pipes/bypass pipes. Very simple install and super well crafted. Tone is much improved over factory, only thing I think would improve the system is harness extensions to keep factory valve actuators. Overall amazing experience, fast shipping, included hardware, great fitment. 10/10"

- Will the down pipes cause the car to throw a code?
- Yes they will. We recommend a tune or working with a shop to prevent CEL

- Technically two questions, but are the free flow race downpipes 200 cell and does the car need to be tuned in order to accommodate the titanium exhaust with the free flow race pipes added on?
