A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.
Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.
Warranty Periods
- 304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

"I recently installed the Valvetronic exhaust on my BMW 540i, and overall, I’m very pleased with both the product and the experience. The sound quality is excellent — deep, refined, and gives the car a much more dynamic personality without being overly loud. The valve control system is impressively responsive and functions perfectly, even though it requires its own external electronics rather than connecting to the factory harness. Shipping was exceptionally quick, and customer service was outstanding. I accidentally ordered the wrong tips, but the team caught the issue and corrected it before shipment — a great example of attention to detail. The package even included some nice extras like a bracelet, which was a nice touch, although my included T-shirt unfortunately didn’t make it into the box. On the fitment side, installation didn’t require cutting the bumper, but the supplied clamps are somewhat visible since my car doesn’t have the M Sport body kit. The tips also sit a bit farther out than I’d prefer. Achieving a perfect visual fit would likely require either upgrading to an M Sport rear bumper or shortening and re-welding the pipes. Overall, this is a high-quality exhaust system with top-tier sound and responsive electronics, backed by a company that clearly values customer satisfaction. A few minor cosmetic adjustments — and making sure all included items arrive — would make it a perfect 5 star experience!"
