When installing just the midpipe, make the cut at the OEM rear section between the first and second dimple for proper fitment.

Older Valvetronic Designs systems (V1/V2) are not compatible with the latest V3 cat-back system. Upgrading to the V3 design is required for full compatibility.

All products manufactured by Valvetronic Designs are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of sale. A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.
Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.
Warranty Periods
- 304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Electronics, including 12V vacuum pumps, RF modules, and controllers, are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Tip finish is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

"Just got my G87 Exhaust Installed a few days ago and man what a great system! The quality is of these system is over the top my M2 sounds like a real European race car not. If your on the fence you wont regrets it this is by far the best systems for BMW's. My only issue is my mid brace is missing from the kit need to call Valvetronic about this. You can see form the pics it is not there."

"Installing this exhaust was extremely easy. All you need is the tool for the rubber hangars and a few hand tools. Overall quality is excellent. I am very pleased with the fit and finish. Holy crap the sound!!!! With the valves closed it is just slightly louder than stock but very tame. Open them up and it sounds amazing. The equal length midpipe makes for a great note. Definitely would recommend it."

- Will this fit a 2022 230i?
- No it will not, our G20 axleback will though!
- Does installing the equal length mid-pipe affect the cats at all?
- No it does not. it is a cat-back
- Is the full length exhaust California compliant? Would it ship here and everything be good?
- Shouldn't have any issues since it is just a catback and does not touch emissions equipment
