All products manufactured by Valvetronic Designs are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of sale. A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.
Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.
Warranty Periods
- 304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Electronics, including 12V vacuum pumps, RF modules, and controllers, are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Tip finish is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

- How many replacement gaskets will need to be purchased for this install, and are they available from you with a system purchase?
- We recommend replacing the gaskets, this would be OEM fitment. GM Part Number 23194206. We do not carry these gaskets but the OEM are easy to source locally or online.
- Looking at a full system. Do the free flow bypass pipes replace the stock cats or is it part of the cat back system?

- Yes our Z06 system fits the non-z06 and is very popular when doing the center exit conversion
- Does the race free flow option have the same option for valves still?
- Yes the free flow option has a valved rear section!
- When installed with the free-flow pipes, do you know if I need a tune for the sensors? Does the full exhaust system run on the car's original factory valve system? Does any of this replace my catalytic converters will my car still be california smog legal
- You will need a tune or the shop to help you source spacers. You can reuse oem control. If you want to keep the OEM cats you can select "cat-back only"
