Warranty Coverage

All products manufactured by Valvetronic Designs are guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship at the time of sale. A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.

Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.

Warranty Periods

  • 304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
  • Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
  • Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
  • Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
  • Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
  • Electronics, including 12V vacuum pumps, RF modules, and controllers, are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
  • Tip finish is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

Amazing Sound!

"The welding quality and materials used is top notch, and though it varies slightly with what is in the pictures, the exhaust received sounds better than the competitor's brands such as Eisenmann and Akrapovic, and others I've heard, it also has the added operability to tune it from quiet to loud. I would say that it is almost as described on their website, however a tad louder than the stock exhaust with the valves closed but not over the top to take on longer trips with droning sounds. I would buy another set from them, best 4k spent on a custom exhaust and excellent customer service! (disclaimer, this was modified to be put on a G65, it will fit all other G classes that Valvtronic mentions on the website without an issue except the V12 model due to its larger catalytic converters)"

Q&A

Have you tried this setup on a 2012-2018 G65?
The exhaust mounting points on the G 65 is the same as the 63 for the W463 generations. We have sold a good number of these most of which have been 63 owners but I believe there has been a few 65 purchasers as well. Look forward to you enjoying the twin turbo V12 cracked up with this set up.
