The Sound Experience

A manufacturing defect is defined as any characteristic of the product that arises during the manufacturing process which impairs its usability for the purposes for which it was designed and manufactured.
Products are guaranteed to fit and function as designed on their intended vehicle application, provided the vehicle has not been modified or incurred structural damage. Sound or tone is not a warrantable or returnable issue, as exhaust sound is subjective and not considered a defect.
Warranty Periods
- 304 stainless steel and titanium exhaust tubes and welds carry a Lifetime of Ownership limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Mufflers and resonators carry a 3-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship or material, including penetrating rust.
- Catalysts are warranted to conform to EPA emission testing and OBDII compatibility criteria for 25,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Catalytic converter external shells, including end pipes, are warranted against corrosion and defective welding for 5 years or 50,000 miles from the date of installation, whichever occurs first.
- Vacuum pots, electronic remotes, and mechanical valves are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Electronics, including 12V vacuum pumps, RF modules, and controllers, are covered by a 1-year limited warranty.
- Tip finish is covered by a 1-year limited warranty.

Great looks and great sound, but not too loud.
"The sound insulation in these car is so good than you can barely tell any difference inside while driving under normal conditions. When you step on it, you can definitely hear a lot more the engine and turbo sound inside and a great tone, but nothing that would indicate how loud is outside. This can be a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. There are days I wish it was a bit more noticeable inside the cabin with the valves open. But the sound from the exterior is great, and cold start is LOUD with the valves open. Even with the valves closed, it has a really nice tone to it. Also, FYI for future buyers, I had some fitment issues with the X-pipe being offset to the drivers side and sometimes making contact with the exhaust tunnel heatshield. It turns out that the the logos were on the wrong side of the X-pipe on the system i received and had to flip it upside down to get it to fit correctly. Overall, happy with the purchase but do not expect your ears bleed. This is how it should have come from the factory."

Q&A
- Does this system require the catalytic converters to be removed or will they still be on the vehicle? Does this replacement system require the cats to be remove and void any factory warranty on the 2024 or 2025 X5M competition.
- This is a cat-back system and does not touch the primary cats. We recommend checking with your dealer about warranty, but cat-back systems should not cause any warranty issues
- I also have a ‘25 X5 M60i that needs way more aggressive sound to match the S68 under the hood. Will the exhaust for this version pop and burble? I miss my rowdy M340i with the sickest exhaust sounds…stock. Sad to see the M60i muzzled!

- It will not. We will have a separate X5 M60 exhaust coming out in the next few months!
- Do the valves open and close through the valve button integrated in the car or is it a remote type of situation?
- You can choose! The kit comes with both options. You can use the remote harness if desired or connect it to the cars OEM modes
